Overview
With T.O.M. WebTrips you can set up approval
layers that a trip request must pass through before being submitted
to the Transportation Department. Districts have a variety of trip
request approval policies all of which can be modeled in WebTrips.
The Approval Policy can be the same for all your schools or
specialized at the individual school level.
Features
You
can setup an unlimited number of approval paths with up to 8
approval layers each.
Transportation
controls which trips are ultimately accepted.
Field
Trip Requests can be approved over the Web. It is easy, just a click
of the button.
When
an "Approver" logs in, T.O.M. WebTrips will automatically give them
a list of all the trip requests requiring their approval.
Schools
can check on approval status of requests.
Benefits of T.O.M. Web Trips
Use
any Web browser and submit field trip requests quickly and easily.
Schools
can track and check the status of their field trip requests over the
web. Has it been approved, scheduled, assigned? No more phone calls!
WebTrips
reduces the paper trail, eliminates lost field trip requests and
vastly reduces time spent entering field trips by the Transportation
Department.
WebTrips
means fewer mistakes in data entry error by putting the job of
entering the request into the hands of the people who know the most
about it. No more typing the same information into more than one
software program!
Improves
Communications between the Transportation Department and the
Schools.
Some Examples of Use
No
Approval Required, once the trip request is entered it is
immediately ready for review by the Transportation Department
The
School Principal must review and approve all trips requested by his
or her school then the trips are sent to the Business Manager for
approval.
If
the trip is an "Athletic" trip, the districts Athletic Director
must approve it.
